|Summary of thesis||
The aim of the research is to investigate the capacity of microalgae to incorporate in their organisms some alkaline earth metals (as intracellular mineral inclusions) and the possible applications for bioremediation. This is a multidisciplinary project including Biology, Environmental Chemistry and Geology.
