Summary of thesis

Aims to document changes in remineralized carbon sequestration in the ocean subsurface in relation to changes in the formation rate of subsurface waters in the Weddell Sea across the last glacial cycle. Specifically, WP2 aims to constrain the sensitivity of Weddell Sea deep water production to climate and assess the leverage subsurface ocean ventilation bears on the air-sea partitioning of CO2.
