| Summary of thesis | This thesis is part of the Horizon Europe MONALISA project. It aims at exploring innovative pathways and solutions to go beyond the SDG15.3.1 approach to strengthen Land Degradation and Desertification (LDD) monitoring and assessment with a particular focus on: (1) soil and (2) climate information to better characterize and contextualize LDD and its impact on selected ecosystem services (e.g., Carbon Storage and Sequestration; Crop production; Habitat cooling; Sediment retention). |
