Description | SwissSed is an informal group of Swiss sedimentologists promoting contacts, exchange of ideas, and information on current developments in sedimentology, stratigraphy, and paleoecology. The main goal is to give MSc and PhD students a forum to present their results as a talk or a poster. Additionally, two keynote speaker are invited to give a presentation on an attractive and relevant topics in sedimentology and -linked research fields. The meeting is in presence and is a module of the CUSO doctoral school "Earth Surface Processes and Paleobiosphere". The poster sessions during coffee breaks and lunch as well as the joint Apéro at the end of the meeting support scientific discussions and exchange as well as support the networking especially for the young research fellows.
