Sedimentology and architecture of tunnel glacial valleys. Examples from Ordovician and Pleistocene glaciations in North Africa and NW Europe.

Main focus of the thesis is to build a depositional model about the sediments filling the glacial tunnel valleys. This will be done by the study of both seismic volumes and outcrops trying to relate the seismic interpretation with the facies interpretation carries out through the outcrops. Mineralogy, geochemistry and micropaleontology are also subjects involved in the project since the sediment present in the tunnel valleys must be characterized from several points of view (age, provenience...)
