Description | The yearly ESPP day brings doctoral students and lecturers/professionals from the doctoral school together. In the morning, an invited speaker on a dedicated topic 'outside academia' gives a special lecture (i.e. special soft skill training for young geoscientists, good practice in geosciences, geosciences after your PhD,…). Doctoral students have the possibility to present their research topic through posters and/or talks. Discussion sessions in front of posters giving the students the chance to discuss and exchange their ideas with other PhD's and researchers from different partner universities. This year, the ESPP day will be held again together with the DPMS day of the doctoral program in mineral sciences and will take place in Bern. The meeting will start at 10 h to allow the travel of students coming from Geneva and Lausanne at comfortable times. The program will follow soon. |

Information | This year's ESPP Day will be held at the Institute for Geology at University of Bern, Baltzerstrasse 1+3, 3012 Bern at the lecture halls and seminar rooms at the second floor. |
Registration | Please register a soon as possible and latest Monday, 17th of October 2022 and send a title of your presentation (talk, poster or both) to earth-processes(at)cuso.ch. This ESPP Day is the only mandatory activity for ESPP PhD student members and especially for those who would like to participate the excursions of this doctoral program! |
